About

Taekwondo Master Teaching Students

Our Story

Yusabu Taekwondo was founded with a vision to bring high-quality, traditional Taekwondo instruction to the Alpharetta community. Located in the heart of Alpharetta, we have built a reputation for excellence, serving students of all ages and experience levels with dedication and traditional values. We provide a safe, energetic, family-oriented atmosphere where every student can thrive.

Our founder, Grand Master Yu, began his Taekwondo journey as a young practitioner in Korea. With over 45 years of martial arts experience and more than 20 years of instructional expertise, Grand Master Yu has dedicated his life to preserving and teaching the traditional values of Korean Taekwondo. After years of training and teaching internationally, he established Yusabu Taekwondo to share his passion with the community and inspire a new generation of martial artists.

Today, Yusabu Taekwondo operates a welcoming facility in Alpharetta with dedicated certified instructors, each upholding the core Taekwondo principles of courtesy, integrity, perseverance, self-control, and indomitable spirit. Our goal is to help each student achieve their best selves mentally, physically, and spiritually at school, home, work, and in the dojang. We provide high-quality instruction in a supportive environment where students of all ages can build discipline, strength, and character.

More Than Taekwondo: Ninja Training

Alongside our traditional Taekwondo curriculum, Yusabu Taekwondo is home to a dedicated Ninja Training program built around a full obstacle course. In 45-minute, action-packed sessions, kids climb, jump, swing, and balance their way through ninja-style challenges designed to grow with them.

The program develops agility, strength, coordination, and problem-solving — but just as importantly, it teaches kids to face a challenge head-on and keep going after a fall. Every obstacle is professionally supervised and age-appropriate, so students push their limits in a safe, encouraging environment where classmates cheer each other on.

We also open the floor after hours for Ninja Night — an evening of obstacle races, team games, and prizes that gives kids a night to remember and parents a night off.
